but open the other eye and it's something else I see
I'm squinting against the glinting just trying to see you in 3-D

so I twist and strain to get out of my head
I try to adjust the knob a little more towards the red
but it just makes the flesh-tones seem a little too bright
I can tell that balance isn't quite right
'cause what looks like pink is supposed to be white

now the vertical hold is jumping (jump, jump, jump, jump)and the picture is slipping (slip)
and I’m right at the part where the plot is most gripping
why does it take so much to be satisfied?(man, I don't know)
why can’t I get by with plain old sci-fi? (you should try it some time)
can’t see in 3-D with just one eye
